Partha is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Ahmedabad. In his career spanning over 30
years, Partha had been a Nuclear Design Engineer, a Banker, a Strategy and Marketing head
of Media and Internet companies and an Advertising Strategist. He has worked with
companies like Citibank N.A, Ogilvy & Mather, Zee, Publicis, BBH, & McCann World Group.
Now he is the President with Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd – the company that publishes the
Times of India, the Economic Times and many other marquee newspapers.
He has won many accolades internationally including the planner and business development
person in the Asia Pacific region. He has also won a number of awards in Effies, WARC, Cannes
Lion including some grand prix.
On the personal front, Partha is a voracious reader, an ardent Arsenal fan and loves listening
to Hindustani classical music.
