Sharmin Rahman seamlessly blends creativity with corporate expertise. She currently serves as the Head of Corporate Brand at Grameenphone and made history as the first female and the youngest Creative Vice President in Bangladesh. In her advertising career, she played a pivotal role in shaping some of the most iconic telecom, FMCG, and social brands in the country. Specializing in youth and telecom brands, Sharmin has led numerous launch campaigns and co-authored memorable songs such as “Tumi Ki Shra Dibe” and “Bondhu Chara Life Impossible.”
In addition to her achievements in advertising communications, Sharmin has pursued fashion design since her teenage years, contributing to both local and international sustainable fashion projects, particularly those focused on reinventing local crafts. Her contributions have earned her the Inspiring Women Award in 2017 from Women in Leadership (WIL) and multiple accolades from the Bangladesh Brand Forum, including the prestigious APAC EFFIE for a social campaign. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling the world and spending time at home with her cats.
