In the advertising industry I’m well known for creating culturally authentic and impactful ideas. My journey began back in 2001 when I started as a Trainee Copywriter at Bitopi Advertising, which was affiliated with Leo Burnett at the time. Over the years, I climbed the ranks and eventually became a Creative Director by 2007.
Throughout my career, I had the privilege of working on the iconic youth brand Djuice and leading memorable campaigns for Grameenphone, such as “Polan Sarkar” for Independence Day and “Phulchor” for Ekushey February.
From 2008 to 2010, I continued to thrive as a Creative Director at Interspeed Advertising, where I contributed to the repositioning of Citycell, witnessing its rise in popularity.
In July 2010, I embarked on a new chapter by joining Ogilvy & Mather Bangladesh. Here, I collaborated with renowned brands like Teletalk, Aarong, Perfetti, Unilever, and BATB. One of my notable achievements was leading the 3G launch campaign for the national Telco brand Teletalk, creatively named “Badh Bhengey Dao – Go unbound”.
In 2013, I took on a new challenge to create a new advertising agency named Sun Communications, where I built a dynamic creative team and challenged conventions with groundbreaking ideas like “Shoundorjo gayer rongey noy – Let’s not determine beauty by skin color.” for Meril. We also created internationally acclaimed content like “Hair cut” for Jui on International Women’s Day.
